RCN Tele-HIV Program
The Tele-HIV program aims to improve the health status of HIV residents and their communities using telehealth services.
Through the use of technology, the program will address the gaps surrounding HIV care in Anambra State by linking primary care providers with HIV specialists abroad to assist with complex patient cases. The goals of this program will be to increase patient access and quality of HIV services, and improve community participation in HIV awareness and prevention. Using telehealth services, health care professionals at the primary care level will be equipped and trained with the tools needed to properly provide quality HIV services. Additionally, investing in community members to help with the awareness and prevention of HIV will be crucial for the success of the program and will undoubtedly play a vital role in decreasing the prevalence of HIV in Anambra State.
