Educational Opportunities

RCN offers a number of clinical and nonclinical educational and research opportunities for interested local and international students, residents, fellows, and professionals. These opportunities provide individuals with hands on experience, working with patients and disease states unique to the region.

Clinical Education

RCN is partnered with a number of local and international academic institutions to provide their students with the experience of working in a health system in the developing world while contributing to the advancement of the community. Through the RISE Medical Elective Program, students can participate in clinical rotations at RISE Clinic and surrounding medical facilities.

Please download our Medical Elective Program handbook for more information.

Academic Partnerships

Please contact us directly at if your school would like to partner and add RISE Clinic to your clinical rotation sites.

Research Education

RCN is committed to training and educating clinical investigators engaged in residency and fellowship program, researchers at the graduate and postdoctoral levels and undergraduate and graduate students interested in exploring and developing their scientific careers and conducting research in this area of the world.

Our research education programs also offer the highest caliber of training opportunities to help faculty and staff keep abreast of current developments in the field and serve the public good. This is accomplished through internal development activities that include training in ethics and effective clinical practices.

Please contact us directly at if you are interested in conducting a research study at RISE Clinic.

Our research opportunities allow those with research interest to collaborate with RCN to devise and implement a research to improve the quality of our services.
